The President of The National Assembly Opens It Doors.
The maiden sport complex and beauty center of the Parliamentarian hotel in Yaounde have been inaugurated by the Right Honorable Cavaye Yeguie Djibril speaker of the National Assembly on the 8th July 2021.
Initially used as a night club, the hall that has been given a new look, is equipped with modern sports machines and beauty equipments.
To witness the inauguration of the sport complex and the beauty center, parliamentarians of all the ten regions of the country, colorfully dressed in captivating sports attire, made their presence felt and emotion exposed.
According to Simon Kumase, CPDM parliamentarian from Santa Constituency, sports is needed for them to be awake so as to carry out the task given them. He appreciated the president of the National Assembly and his team for a wonderful work done so far to make them be able to exercise themselves. Honorable Cecilia Dione Epie, CPDM member parliament from Kube Muaneguba, is very excited with the installation of a sport complex that will enable them keep fit.
To her, such a complex will make the law makers more relax after 30 days of hard work. She stated “Parliamentarians are now happy after the 30 days of brainstorming.
The women also are happy because everything that has to do with beauty has been put in place. In the beauty center, they do treatment of the legs, pedicure and manicure not leaving out massaging to make us more beautiful.”The brand new machines in the center will enable the law makers not to strain in the course of using them.
