Cavaye Yeguie Djibril Trying To Avoid Mob Justice.
The Right Honourable Cavaye Yeguie Djibril, the Speaker of Cameroon National Assembly during the opening of June Parliamentary Session that took place on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at the Yaounde Conference Center, has urged Cameroonians to stay calm and wait for the audit results regarding the management of COVID -19 funds so as to avoid mob justice.
The president explains » I beseech my fellow citizens to kindly wait for results of the audit by refraining from having recourse to conventional media outlets and the social media to judge some Cameroonians before hand and expose them to mob justice. »Cameroonians should not be distracted by reports of the media but focused on the Corona virus pandemic that for over 15 months, has negatively impacted the country’s socio-economic life. Though the government has done its bests to curb the situation by carrying out vaccination campaign against Covid 19, no one can gainsay the fact that the virus is real. The right Honourable Speaker Pointed out.
The general laxity by Cameroonians to put on their face masks and observe all COVID-19 related restrictions is highly condemned by the President of the Lower House of Parliament. He calls on all asundry to put on the face masks » My fellow citizens, you need to put on your face masks and I repeat you need to put on your face masks. We should observer all COVID-19 restrictions as well as rules of hygiene. »COVID-19 he added kills slowly and continues to cause deaths.
The Right Honourable Cavaye Yeguie Djibril Called on fellow parliamentarians to join the bandwagon more than ever before to educate in their constituency.
