Etombi Foundation Puts Smiles On the Faces of Over 100 children.

A humanitarian non government organization known as Etombi Foundation has come to the rescue of over 100 children by offering them scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic year. The beneficiaries mostly internal displaced children greatly affected by the armed conflict in the North West and South West Regions received their package on 29th October 2021 in Limbe where the symbolic event happened.
The academic scholarship handed to over a hundred under privileged kids by the Etombi Foundation will increase the zeal of the children and augment their hopes of education this year. In the presence of the Minister of Social Affairs, Pauline Irene Nguene, Naomi Etombi the CEO of the foundation appreciated the Almighty God for backing them up in realizing the dream of reaching out to thousands others. Limbe she stated has been a safe place for the needy and its hospitality spirit offers comfort to the vulnerable people who could find it possible to help themselves. Many families have been forced to leave their homes since the crisis stated in the two English speaking regions of the country. She added.
She acknowledged the fact that youth education is very essential in the building of the country as well enabling the country to get to emergence by 2035. “We cannot build Cameroon without an educated population.
The Minister of Social Affairs Pauline Irene Nguene on her part thanked the Etombi Foundation and the leader for awarding scholarship to over 100 children who are vulnerable. The move, she explained is in line with the social policy of the Head of State.
