The National Team Stranded At The Douala Airport.
The Cameroon’s national team the indomitable Lions after the outstanding victory against the Mozambique National team by 3 goals to 1 on Friday the 8th October 2021 were subjected into humiliation and frustration on Saturday the 9th October 2021 at the Douala international airport as they remain stuck and stranded due to the absence of a plane to transport them to Morocco for the away match against the Mozambique opponent in the country of King Mohammed the VI.
Focus Media Afrique gathered that, the players and officials, waited for hours for the country’s airline company CAMAIR-CO which was supposed to transport them to Morocco failed to show up. The disappointment of CAMAIR-CO instilled fear and constellation in the hearts of the players, officials and Cameroonians lovers of football who saw the team losing the match by forfeiture.
It is gathered that the national airline company CAMAIR-CO has the habit of disappointing its passengers. Thanks to the timely intervention, the Indomitable Lions finally traveled to Morocco where they will battle with the Mozambique National team. The Lions who were supposed to travel by the national airlines Camair-co to Tangier on Saturday had to do so on Sunday after the company disappointed them.
They left Douala on that day to Tangier to play with the Mozambique national selection for the 4th day of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifiers. While the Mozambique national team took off on that same day after the match to prepare for the return league, the Indomitable lions have to remain stranded at the airport.
Before their journey, it was alleged that Equatorial Guinea a neighboring country has opted to send an air bus to transport the players in order to prevent them from losing the match of today by forfeiture. Eye are raised to see the team get another three points after all the frustration and disappointment.
