Politicians Call Upon To Respect Republican Rules And Regulations.

The Right Honorable Cavaye Yeguie Djibril, the speaker of the Cameroon’s National Assembly, on  Friday, April 9, 2021, at the Yaounde Conference Center has called on Cameroonians to be watchful and keep their guards against manipulators and distractors, who are doing everything possible to cause chaos in the country through their protest call for the reform of the electoral code.

To the president of the lower house of parliament, it is regretable that,  those calling on the authorities to reform the electoral code were elected into their occupied offices  through  to the same code they are denouncing today. To him, such an attitude can only be demonic  » I also enjoin Cameroonians to remain vigilant in the face of the old demons that are resurfacing  through the political protest of some politicians, especially those who are now calling on the authorities to reform the electoral code ».

The Right Honorable Cavaye Yeguie Djibril, the speaker of the Cameroon’s National Assembly, during the closing of the March session, pointed out clearly that, there is nothing wrong in making claims for a change of the code, but this should be done in proper respect of the rules and regulations of the Republic.  » They probably think that the electoral code has some defects, but fail to understand that they are even in a better position to use the right proceduce to make their demands by respecting the rules and regulations of the Republic ».

The speaker of the National Assembly calls on all to put an end to the distraction they are trying to cause the general public.
