Minister Achille Bassile Kim III up to provide financial and technical supports .
The effects of Covid 19 on the activities of small and medium size enterprises in Cameroon and the desire of that ministry to support them both technically and financially was the argument tabled by the boss of the Ministry of Small and Medium Size Enterprises Achille Basille Kim III on Tuesday 30th November, 2021 when defending the budget of 11 billion FCFA allocated for his ministry for the year 2022.
The Minister told the members of the finance and budget committee that apart from government assistance, the ministerial department is doing everything to get support from donors who are set to provide technical and financial aids to them. Grants will be given to the small and medium size enterprises from certain banks. He added
International partners the Minister of Small and Medium Size Enterprises mentioned are ready to accompany Cameroon to fully implement institutional procedure of national and social development plan.
Since the country will be hosting the Total Energies Africa Nations cup (AFCON) 2021, in January 2022, the handicraft sector has to be exposed as they will be specific areas that their works will be marketed. Those in this sector the Minister stated clearly, will surely enter the year with a lot of hope and enthusiasm.
