Politics : Four Pillars of The National Development Strategy Presented

Alamine Ousman Mey Hammers on the Importance of NDS30 to Cameroon.

The National Development Strategy (NDS30) on Friday, 12th November 2021 was presented by the Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development Alamine Ousman Mey to the Members of Parliament at the Yaounde Conference Center. To Alamine Ousman Mey, the importance of the NDS30 should never be under minded as it constitutes four important pillars that can provoke the country’s advancement.

The structural development of the state which is the major pillar of the economy, followed by promoting human capital and the wellbeing of our population, the job and employment incision, the economic incision of the country and the Government Decentralization strategy management of the state which makes up the last pillar give the authorities the opportunity to elaborate a plan for the future.

This document that was elaborated by the Minister in the past and reiterated at the National Assembly will usher the country into the emergence in the year 2035. The Economic and Planning boss revealed that, the interest of the Head of State Paul Biya is to see the country grow by that year “ The President of the Republic in his inaugural speech mentioned on the 6th November 2018 that emergence should become our national concern.” The participative approach which to him is a very strong robust road map will drive Cameroon towards an emerging economy by 2035.

To the Minister, discussion concerning the economic development of the country will not end as it will give the stakeholders the appropriation for them to establish an excellent management of the economy so that implementation will bring the expected results to meet the population demands.
